Under the Exploring Enterprise 2 Programme, Workspace worked with a local Women’s Group to deliver a four-week pre-enterprise training programme. The programme worked with economically inactive people to look at the concept of entrepreneurship and starting their own business. Through the programme ten participants successfully attained a CCEA qualification in Understanding Business Enterprise.
The Tradelinks Programme is aimed at supporting local businesses grow and develop to enable them to target export markets. Through the programme six local businesses gained support that assisted them to identify new market opportunities and undertake mentoring with a specialist business consultant. The programme also provided linkage and networking opportunities for businesses.
Demand for our property across all sites was high with occupancy levels at more than 85% on average.
